Tyler’s still feeling very sick, but showing definite signs of improvement. He was wide awake all last night and most of today due to an incessant cough. His viral testing came back negative, but because of the cough, he remains in isolation. Tyler is definitely responding to the Zosyn and Vancomycin since his cultures were negative for bacteria today. His fever is much reduced, but he feels terrible and is having severe GI problems from the antibitoics. Tyler’s pressures are strong and his mouth sores are resolving. I have no doubt that he is now out of the woods and will continue to improve each day!
