Compared to three units of red blood total yesterday, Ty has needed seven today. He is clearly bleeding more, and that’s with the support of the clotting medication. Definitely a change in the wrong direction from yesterday! Other than giving him more blood products, his team is really not sure what to do. He is also still obstructed, so his stomach is getting more and more painful for him. Please pray this turns around quickly! His lungs continue to look better each day on the conventional ventilator. It’s so hard to know that his lungs are healing nicely while his life is gravely threatened by a gastric bleed.
