The “out of the box” med doesn’t appear to be working. Tyler’s abdomen is more distended and hard, and they are pulling lots more blood out of his stomach through his oral gastric (OG) tube. He is at this moment receiving 3 units of blood because his blood counts dropped throughout the night.
Tyler is heavily sedated in case he is in pain, so we can no longer communicate with him. I still believe God is going to heal his entire GI tract, despite this! Perhaps He doesn’t want anyone to be able to point to the medication as the reason. I don’t know, but I’m still praying for His intervention. In the meantime, Tyler’s lungs continue to look and perform better.
