I was finally well enough to see Tyler yesterday evening!  Praying I stay healthy for a long, long time so I don’t have to go through that separation again.

Tyler still feels bad; he’s nauseated and is getting sores in his throat.  It’s hard for him to eat/drink, but he’s determined to eat at least one meal a day and have snacks so he can keep up his strength.  He is mostly able to keep what he eats down, so that’s a blessing!  He’s lost weight again, but that’s to be expected.

All things considered, Tyler could be a WHOLE lot sicker while on chemo, so we’re extremely grateful for this!

Last week when Tyler was home for 5 days, he was thrilled with all the opportunities he had to re-connect with friends.  One afternoon, he broke out into a big smile and said,

“I love my life!”

Can you imagine?  I’ve been warmed by that memory each day since.

Tyler’s medical team has been impressed with how well Tyler has responded to treatment so far, and speculates that it’s his positive attitude.

I speculate that it’s the LORD!  Please keep those prayers coming!
