Quick update from this morning’s entry:  turns out the rash (which now has spread over his entire body) is grade 3 skin toxicity related to the sorafenib, not folliculitis.  Grade 3 is the highest level of toxicity, and means they had to discontinue his treatment for a few days.

The blisters are worsening on both Tyler’s palms and the bottoms of his feet.  He attempted a day of significantly reduced morphine, but ended up with severe back and neck pain, so they’ve increased the dosage again.  Tomorrow (or I guess today at this point), they will x-ray him to see if they can determine the source of his neck/back pain.  Ty also spiked a fever again, which makes them a little more concerned when paired with the new pain.  Never a dull moment!
