I forgot to mention that we were given the opportunity to move into St. Casimir, the transplant housing that is operated by Believe in Tomorrow. We checked out of the hotel this morning and got settled in our new little apartment in the Canton area of Baltimore City. Normally we only would have come here with Tyler once he was discharged from the hospital and stayed for the full 100 days after transplant (May 4th).
Not only did they allow Ron and me to move in without Tyler, but said we can stay as long as he remains inpatient, including any rehab stay he has at Kennedy Krieger. Wow! Another amazing blessing in the midst of so much stress! We are so grateful to our church family for the wonderful stay we’ve had at the hotel, and are now ready to begin our next chapter in city living.
