Tyler used significant amounts of blood the last weeks of his life, and smaller amounts throughout his seven-month treatment. Our friends have worked together with the Red Cross to organize a huge blood drive in Tyler’s memory. Anyone wanting to donate needs to sign up (link below) so that the Red Cross knows how to staff the event.
Right now the blood bank is low on supplies. I can’t imagine any patient needing blood and not being able to get it. Will you consider donating blood in honor of Tyler? Many of Tyler’s friends, who are too young to donate, will be helping out with snacks and drinks. A staffed kids’ area will be available if you bring your kids.
