Below is a note and link from one of my co-workers who is captaining a Baltimore “Team Tyler” this year. Thank you to Ginna and to all who end up participating!
I’m praying a breakthrough comes quickly so that children don’t have to suffer through the brutal chemo currently used to treat Leukemia and other cancers. Tyler is one of too many kids who died from the treatment, not the disease.
“As many of you know, Dianne McGinn’s son Tyler was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia a year ago. He lost his valiant fight in March of this year, and in his memory, I am captaining the Baltimore Light the Night Walk for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society on November 3rd at Camden Yards to raise money for research and ultimately a cure for this terrible disease. I have provided the link to the Team Tyler webpage where you can sign up to walk or make a donation to the cause. Please feel free to extend the invitation to your own friends and families so that we can make this event a success and keep the memory of Tyler strong.”
