Tyler’s right lung looked much worse on xray today, his blood pressures have been running low, and his stomach continues to bleed. However, his blood gases have been better and they were even able to make some weans on the oscillator. He presents a confusing picture! Tyler’s liver, kidneys and heart are doing well; it’s just his lungs holding him back.
Yesterday we got the amazing news we’d been waiting for – his new donor cells have fully engrafted! If God can just heal those lungs, Tyler has a brand new immune system waiting for him!
