Tyler’s bleeding continues despite blocking the left gastic artery, which is the main artery that leads to the stomach. This supports the fact that Tyler’s bleeding is spread out over his entire stomach (diffuse).
We had so hoped the angiogram and embolizing would be the treatment Tyler needs. Ron and I are now back to facing some decisions about the remaining options they are offering. None of them are things we really want to consider for Tyler, but will if it means saving his life.
