Last night Ron, my sister Karen, and I stayed with Tyler since the outcome wasn’t looking good. Tyler was able to be stabilized somewhat, but only with 6 units of blood, 2 of platelets, 2 of FFP, and being given 100% oxygen. He’s received 6 of his 12 doses of Factor VII yet is still bleeding briskly.
His blood pressure is very low, despite being on max doses of pressors. His heart is working overtime to try to keep the blood flowing through his body. We are fast approaching another situation where we will need God’s intervention or face losing our son. After God’s intervention two weeks ago, Ron and I both know this is a hope we can cling to! We know Tyler is bathed in the prayers of thousands.
